Pretty sure if I had magic I’d mostly use it to get a proper snuggle going while reading in bed. The only drawback I can see is a floating book falling on my face if I dozed off.
this book hurt my feelings
randomly thinking about the first book that had my entire grade hooked–bridge to terabithia 6th grade. we all loved it so much, even the kids who hated reading loved it. we bonded over the characters and longed for our own terabithia and a friendship that strong.
and then our teacher assigned us the last few chapters.
and that’s how 25 12-year-olds lost their ability to trust in a single week.

books-cupcakes answered:
alliooup it is completely fine to abandon a book you are currently reading! Don’t feel bad about it either! Why should you waste your time and energy on a book that you don’t enjoy when you could be reading far better things! :D
